J Donte began his career in music in 1989. His musical style can be best described as #SophistiPop & #StoryTeller; R&B/Pop music with sophisticated musical arrangements, colorful melodies, storytelling with accompanying videos. His talents and work ethic have taken him to a level of professionalism that has presented opportunities to work with some of the biggest names in the industry. J Donte’s most recent collaborations with Billboard charting/Grammy nominated songwriter, co-producer Jayne Olderman and Joey Melotti (currently keyboardist and musical arranger for Barry Manilow) feature many A list players such as Morris “Mo” Pleasure on bass, piano (EW&F, Michael Jackson), Richard Smith on guitar (Kenny Loggins), Jeff Pevar on guitar (Ray Charles), Sonny Emory on drums (E,W&F) and many more of this caliber.

Bronze Telly award for “Love Big” commercial on which he is a co-writer/co-producer.
J Donte co-wrote and co-produced the following: “Time to Heal” which was featured on ABC ‘s “All My Children”, “Why Can’t It Just Be Christmas” sung by Tiffany Milagro which spent 6 weeks on the top 20 Billboard Single Charts, and many more songs and recordings for various artists including Tiffany Milagro, JoBel Star, C Richards, Rachel Little, various commercials such as Turbochef, DSG Productions and more.
